TYPES OF RELIEFS FOR THE REPAYMENT OF LOAN OBLIGATIONS

The reliefs provided for by the Decision relate to the RESCHEDULING and REFINANCING of loan products, with a grace period of 6 months and a corresponding extension of the repayment period, so that the borrower's monthly instalments do not exceed those from the initial repayment plan prior to the approval of the respective relief.

During the grace period, while the Bank does not charge the principal-related amounts, it charges the agreed interest. The customer can decide whether to pay the accrued interest during the grace period after the expiry of the grace period or during the grace period.

THE DECISION ON THE TYPE OF RELIEFS IS DEFINED BY THE BANK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TYPE OF PRODUCT.

1. RESCHEDULING of the loan implies a grace period - suspension of repayment of obligations to the Bank for 6 months, during which the Bank does not collect the principal, whereas it will charge the agreed interest and the repayment period is extended in the way that the amount of the annuity after the expiry of the grace period until the end of the new loan repayment period does not exceed that amount before the application of reliefs. Thus, after the end of the grace period of 6 months, the customer continues to pay the loan instalment and the repayment period is extended by the time of the pause in the repayment of the loan.

Eligible for RESCHEDULING as a relief in the repayment of loan obligations shall be the customers who meet the conditions defined by the Decision of the National Bank of Serbia and who have already contracted:

  • device loan - since this is an interest-free loan, the relief in the repayment of loan obligations implies a grace period in the repayment lasting 6 months. The customer shall submit the documentation necessary to substantiate the fulfilment of the conditions for approving the relief and the Bank will apply the relief by providing a new repayment plan to the customer.
  • cash loan - relief in repayment of loan obligations implies a grace period in repayment lasting 6 months. The customer shall submit the documentation necessary to substantiate the fulfilment of the conditions for approving the relief and the Bank will apply the relief by providing a new repayment plan to the customer and a change of the agreed conditions. In the request for approval of the relief, the customer decides whether to pay the accrued interest after the expiry of the grace period or during the grace period.
  • cash loan for refinancing - relief in repayment of loan obligations that implies a grace period in repayment of obligations in the duration of 6 months. The customer shall submit the documentation necessary to substantiate the fulfilment of the conditions for approving the relief and Bank will apply the relief by providing a new repayment plan to the customer and a change of the agreed conditions. In the request for approval of the relief, the customer decides whether to pay the accrued interest after the expiry of the grace period or during the grace period.

2. REFINANCING of loan products means approving a new loan to settle all obligations to the Bank based on the existing loan product(s), with a grace period of 6 months during which the Bank does not charge the principal, whereas it will charge the agreed interest and the repayment period is extended in the way that the amount of the annuity after the expiry of the grace period until the end of the new loan repayment period does not exceed that amount before the application of the relief.

Eligible for REFINANCING as a relief in the repayment of loan obligations shall be the customers who meet the conditions defined by the Decision and who have already contracted:

  • credit card / refinancing credit card - credit repayment relief that implies the approval of a new loan with a grace period in the repayment of loan obligations of 6 months. The customer shall submit the documentation necessary to the fulfilment of the conditions for approving the relief and the Bank will apply the relief by concluding a new refinancing agreement.  In the request for approval of the relief, the customer decides whether to pay the accrued interest after the expiry of the grace period or during the grace period.
  • allowed overdraft - credit repayment relief that implies the approval of a new loan with a grace period in the repayment of obligations of 6 months.  The customer shall submit the documentation necessary to substantiate the fulfilment of the conditions for approving the relief and the Bank will apply the relief by concluding a new refinancing agreement. In the request for approval of the relief, the customer decides whether to pay the accrued interest after the expiry of the grace period or during the grace period.
  • Fast cash loan - credit repayment relief that implies the approval of a new loan with a grace period in the repayment of loan obligations of 6 months. After the expiration of the grace period, the remaining amount of the debt is repaid in two monthly installments.

Important notes:

In the event of a credit card refinancing, on the day the credit refinancing loan is approved, the card will be unavailable for use and you will not be able to use the funds from the credit limit.

If you refinance the allowed overdraft (minus), the funds from the allowed overdraft will not be available for use from the day when the Bank activates a new loan.

If you refinance the Fast Cash loan, after the expiration of the grace period, the remaining debt is to be repaid in two monthly installments.

Note for approval of new loan - refinancing: if the customer is employed and an administrative ban is defined as collateral for the existing loan product subject to refinancing, the Bank may require the customer to submit a new administrative ban (digitally signed or physically signed original), which is a collateral for the new refinancing loan.

Relief shall apply to each product separately by approval of rescheduling or refinancing of loan obligations.

The relief can be used by the customer for one or several of their loans / loan products currently being repaid to the Bank, and they apply to loan products approved by the Bank before 15.12.2020.
