Telenor banka – the first fully mobile online bank in South Eastern Europe – and Asseco SEE – a regional leader and one of the biggest European IT companies – will be joining 70 global companies set to present their innovations and achievements at the prestigious global conference on banking and finance technologies Finovate Europe. Telenor banka – the first fully mobile online bank in the region – has been invited to showcase experiences from the collaborative project, proving that local experience, knowledge, and synergy between banking and telecommunications expertise capture interest and attention even beyond country borders.
Over the two days of the conference that will take place in London on 10 and 11 February, companies will have exactly seven minutes each to showcase their most advanced innovations in the field of banking and financial services.
In global terms, the concept of direct banking has already initiated changes to the way in which customers do their day-to-day banking. Introducing innovations supported by using state-of-the-art technologies has enabled banks to offer integrated products and services. A challenge that will remain standing before all financial institutions in the future is for them to develop an adequate response to the growing needs of banking customers for financial services that are interactive, user-friendly, and easily accessible. The ever rising demand for electronic payment methods and the increased use of the Internet and smart mobile devices open up a vast space for innovations such is the one to be presented by Telenor banka together with Asseco at this year’s Finovate.
