As a client, do I need to take any action in the mobile or web app or visit a branch office or Telenor shop?
No, you don’t need to visit a branch office or take any additional steps. With Mobi Banka application continue to manage your finances as easily as before, because you will still have your bank in your telephone. And you will still be able to find us in all Telenor shops!
Will the Bank’s services change?
No they won’t. The prices will remain the same, and you will be able to find them in the Tariff Plan applicable as 7 October 2019.
Will my account number and payment card stay the same?
Your account number and package will stay the same, and you can continue to use your existing payment card until its expires.
Will the Bank’s mobile and web app change?
Your mobile and web app’s signature features will stay the same, but their name changes into Mobi Banka and they will get a new design. In the meantime, you can use the existing Telenor banka’s applications, before you are asked to update your mobile app via Google Play Store or App Store.
Will there be issues with the application due to the change of name?
No, there won’t. All you need to do is to update your application in Google Play or App Store. Your data in the application and all its features will remain the same.
Will these changes have an impact on my loan and the amount of interest rate?
No, they won’t. Your loan will not be subject to change, which is to say the terms will remain as previously agreed.
Will the Bank’s services and products remain the same?
The Bank’s services and products will remain the same and are available at our new website www.mobibanka.rs.
Will my payment cards change? If yes, when and how?
You can use your existing payment cards until it expires.
How will MasterCard payments work?
It will remain the same as before. Mobi Banka’s MasterCard terms will remain the same.
Will my savings terms remain the same?
The agreed savings terms will remain the same until expiry. The more detailed terms of savings in Mobi Banka are available in the Tariff Plan applicable as of 7 October 2019.
Will the ATMs locations remain the same?
All ATMs that you use for RSD or EUR withdrawal or deposit by using payment cards or the mCash service from your mobile phone remain in their well-known locations, but with a new name - Mobi Banka. The detailed map of ATMs is available from your mobile and web app.
Will I continue to receive notices by SMS or e-mail?
Of course, you will, only you will be receiving them from Mobi Banka.
What will happen to my mobile phone purchase agreement with Telenor?
Your agreement will remain in place and you will continue to meet your obligations as you have been so far.
Will your website address change?
Your bank’s website address is now www.mobibanka.rs. Apart from the information about our products and services, the new website will also include links to social media. You don’t need to worry if you have saved the old website in your Bookmarks, because you will be redirected to the new one.
Will your e-mail address remain the same?
Your bank will have new e-mail addresses with the extension @mobibanka.rs, and the old addresses ending in @telenor.rs will remain available for some time. The Bank’s contact details are: banka@mobibanka.rs and 063 9005. Please visit our website at www.mobibanka.rs for other details.
Why has the Bank changed its name?
In February 2019, PPF Group completed the process of buying 100 percent ownership of Telenor Bank from Telenor Group, after previously acquiring the necessary regulatory consent from the National Bank of Serbia. In accordance with the change of ownership, Telenor banka will change its name and visual identity and become Mobi Banka.
This transaction is the natural step for PPF Group on Serbian market, after it acquired Telenor’s telecommunication companies in Central and Eastern Europe last year, more precisely in Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia and Montenegro.
